ANNOUNCEMENT: Songstories Joins the Suite 1984 Family of Publications
The team at Suite 1984 Publishing is excited to announce the publication Songstories, founded by Christopher Robin, has transferred ownership to KiKi Walter and is now part of the Suite 1984 family of publications.
About Songstories
Chris Robin wrote:
We are all made up of the elements we are exposed to over our lifetimes. The information we consume daily changes us. From our earliest experiences as babies through our entire lives we absorb things that shape us.
Central to them is the music we listen to. Most of us here are readers and writers and fans of the arts of every kind. Some can’t listen to music while they write, others use it as their muse.
It is the mission of Songstories to share those experiences.
Our partnership was born from a mutual love of mixing music with memoir/writing. When we added a Music & Memoir prompt to The Memoirist, which — as it turned out, was in complete alignment with Chris’ vision for his publication — Chris approached us. Adopting Songstories into our family was the most natural decision we could have made.
Will Anything Change?
There are no plans to change anything about Songstories. In fact, Chris plays a major editorial role at Suite 1984 and will still be part of the publication. Our only plans at this time are related to growth, which may entail more social media and Medium outreach, and writer engagement. We are looking to take a fabulous niche publication and take it to the next level.
